How Housing Placement Works
A clear process for housing inquiries and referrals.
01 — Submit a Housing Inquiry
02 — Initial Review
03 — Housing Conversation
04 — Placement & Move-In
An applicant, family member, supporter, or referral professional submits a housing inquiry.
Housing inquiries are reviewed for needs, preferred location, move-in timing, and potential fit.
We discuss the shared-home environment, household expectations, availability, and next steps.
When housing is approved and available, the resident completes the required agreements and move-in process.
Submitting an inquiry or referral does not guarantee acceptance, placement, or immediate availability.
For Organizations
Housing referrals and professional coordination
Valley Neighbor Living works with case managers, social workers, housing navigators, community organizations, and other professionals who support adults with housing needs. We aim to keep the referral process organized, responsive, and easy to follow.
